CRUSADE REPORTS 2009

HATFIELD, HARARE, ZIMBABWE

29 April – 2 May 2009

Five days of evening crusade meetings were held in the suburb of Hatfield, Harare. The salvations were numerous and miracles overwhelming in their intensity. People testified of God healing them while the salvation message was still being preached. A certain lady had suffered with a lame arm for over five years due to an injured spinal cord. The Holy Spirit completely restored all feeling and strength into that arm. A ten-year-old girl who had been mute since birth began to speak and a woman was healed of multiples cancers. What a mighty God we serve!

MERERANI, TANZANIA

18 – 24 May 2009

The tanzanite-mining town of Mererani in Tanzania is populated chiefly by Masai. Our program consisted of six days of evening crusades and five mornings of conference meetings. A gentleman who had been unable to walk without the use of a crutch for one and a half years due to a stroke is now jiving for Jesus completely unaided. A young boy received perfect hearing in a previously deaf left ear; several women were healed of tumours and a man who had been suffering for almost three decades from constant soreness and disability in his right arm, left the crusade field entirely pain-free.

MOSHI, TANZANIA

22 – 28 June 2009

We had six evening meetings and corresponding morning meetings in the town of Moshi, which lies at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Tumours, arthritis and chest ailments disappeared before a rising storm of Holy Spirit power. A man who had been suffering from severe pains in his entire left side due to an accident three years ago, bent and twisted with evident delight, declaring boldly his now pain-free state. A teenage girl who was born with only partial vision in both eyes can now see perfectly. Sobbing with joy, she embraced those around her. Glory be to God!

NORTON, ZIMBABWE

29 July – 2 Aug 2009

A morning conference meeting In Norton, a town situated just outside of Harare, we engaged in both evangelistic meetings as well as ministering to teenagers in a youth conference. The former resulted once again in many salvations and healings. Jesus restored the dislocated shoulder of a certain gentleman. He stood grinning ecstatically, doing windmills with his arm and declaring “It’s super! It’s super!” in a heavy Shona accent. The young people responded most enthusiastically to teachings on the Holy Spirit, many being baptized in a mighty floodtide of His love and power.

TUNDUMA AND MPEMBA, TANZANIA

15 – 19 August 2009

The neighbouring towns of Tunduma and Mpemba lie within the Mbeya state of Tanzania, accessible by a fourteen hour bus ride from the coastal capital of Dar es Salaam. Sharing our time between the two, the Holy Spirit was surely kept busy with many being healed of a variety of complaints, from chest pains and stomach ailments to irregular heartbeats and muscle spasms. The Gospel went forth with beautiful simplicity, people responding with sincere enthusiasm to the invitation to surrender their lives to Jesus.

HATFIELD, HARARE, ZIMBABWE

21 – 25 October 2009

It is where darkness is most shockingly blatant that light shines at its brightest, defying all evil surroundings with its sheer brilliance. With the people of Zimbabwe suffering under a constant onslaught of political havoc and lack of basic amenities, the light of Christ caused lurking shadows to flee to the glory of His Name! Testimonies from the evening crusade meetings include the total deliverance of a gentleman who had been unable to move his right arm without pain for three months, as well as a certain woman who had been tormented by constant stomach pains for several weeks.

EGOLI TOWNSHIP, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

7 – 11 October 2009

We were invited to join forces with a local evangelistic ministry in holding a tent crusade in one of the many townships that fringes the city of Cape Town. In the midst of great poverty, the hope brought by His boundless love and saving grace caused the tent to explode each evening with much rejoicing, singing and dancing. The glorious name of our Lord was lifted high, with many salvations and miracles following the preaching of the word.

DZIVARESEKWA EXTENSION, HARARE, ZIMBABWE

9 – 13 December 2009

The Dzivaresekwa crusade will forever stand out in our memories. Although we battled against power outages and erratic thundershowers, the people of Zimbabwe exhibited an awe-inspiring rawness of faith and desperation for God that we are always most humbled to witness. Each meeting was marked by an overwhelming response to the Gospel message. Altar calls were eagerly met with streams of new converts and prayer for the sick by multiple joyful testimonies.
